Submission Guidelines

Licking River Review is an online literary journal that is published annually in the spring. Submissions can be sent to lrr@nku.edu; however, we will not begin reviewing submissions until submissions officially close for the next issue. We accept creative nonfiction, fiction and poetry, as well as flash fiction and fsash creative nonfiction. Flash fiction and flash creative nonfiction should be 800 words at most, while full length creative non fiction and fiction (including novel excerpts), should be between 800-5,000 words. Poetry submissions should not exceed five poems. We look forward to reading your work!
